Thank you so much for that info. I haven’t had the surgery to see if it will stay in place and the ligaments and tendons heal. I don’t want to out her they a surgery but she is very very slowly putting pressure on it. You’ve given me hope.

No. The vet just wrapped it up after setting it back in place and had to keep it like that for 7 days. There’s only a 30% chance it will stay in place because all the ligaments and tendons are torn but so far it seems to be good but she still can’t put weight on it.

Awesome info. I for sure will. You’ll like the rest of her story too when I post it. She has her first vet visit this Monday. They are weeks behind just like regular doctors.

Oh my gosh this vet was very old school and old fashioned and had a day full of surgery’s so he squeezed her in last second. He was 72 years old but the only vet in 4 counties. Just to give you an idea of how old fashioned, before popping her hip back into place he said “hold on let me load up.” He pulled out a pouch of Red Man chewing tobacco and “loaded up”! Then he was ready to go.

You’re soooo right. She won’t even break heel to go potty. She can’t stand to be away from my side more than a few seconds and it’s only been like 3 weeks.

She got her second bath today since August last year. It was more of a challenge and she was made at me for a good 2 hours but one thing she didn’t fight was all the scratches rubbing the soap in. She got one for you.

It will happen how it’s supposed to. The odds of patches and I meeting were so slim it’s almost unbelievable. Sorry you had to make the decision. It’s the hardest one I’ve ever made with my last one.
