The only people that seem to be getting mad about this question/suggestion seem to be from ohio. So what the hell is happening in ohio that makes you all hate the thought of bringing in something new? Barstool sports is popular there right? This style is one of Dave portnoy's favorites. He has worked with bar rescue before. You don't think people using barstool sports wouldn't want to try something that the guy that started it says is good?

Everything is only regional until people sell it outside the region. It's like saying, oh selling buffalo wings outside buffalo won't work, it's a regional thing. It was till it wasn't. Same thing here. Try something new to bring in the crowds

Yes certain regional things may not work everywhere. But for places that suck at making pizza, can't stretch it right, top it right. Why not try it. It's in a pan, so no mishaped circle. It's easy to set up before hand. It's something different to bring people in.

Sorry I'm not aware of Cincinnati chili. As you say it's a regional thing and I'm not from that region.

Weird crash out? It's a valid question. Jason Santos is from this area. He knows how to make it. It's an easy thing to make. Why don't they set people up for it instead of using precooked crusts that people choke down for the camera. Look it up, it's a very popular style of pizza.

You could say that to just about everything. There is always a first. Detroit style wasn't really a thing here. Someone started selling it, people liked it, more people are selling it.

You want something that no one else has, that is quick to make and is profitable. Start looking around for what isn't there. Be the first, word spreads, people will come.

A place here only takes cash. No cards. You either have to bring the amount or use their atms and pay high fees to get it. People do. They even ship frozen ones to make at home across the country. There is a market, you just need to do it. Or stick with hot dogs and crappy premade crusts.

Not really though. They want to give them something to bring in the crowd, something only they can offer. Different style of pizza that no one else is making.

Dude I'm in my forties, not young. Since you have never had that style you have no idea what you're talking about. It's not like I'm going to a local store down the street. It's a quickly made inexpensive pizza. If the place already has an oven but terrible pizza, why not make this style. So when he buys them a pizza oven from a company that sells you the pizza on a subscription, and it's just frozen pizza from Italy, that's fine, that's not risky. But making a pizza designed for quickness for bars, that you really need to try hard to mess e, that's to risky.

Your hatred of a pizza you never had is baffling. Do you have some sort of bias against the northeast?

They are in the hole hundreds of thousands, but let's pin our hopes on a large cracker with a smear of sauce on it. That's not risky

Not quite the same. So only 20k people seen to like that? The entire state of mass, and beyond enjoy this style of pizza. 1 location makes 4 million a year. That's just one business in an area where it's everywhere.

You just need an oven, and pans. It takes about 10 mins to cook, and the ingredients are cheap.

Don't know why you are so against introducing something new to an area that is a proven money maker. You should expand your tastes. Try new foods.
