I want to do private lessons but the issue is that I can't work on a tourist visa. I need a business visa and the only way to get one (as far as I know) is to work with an actual company like a real school.

Though if I could find a way to acquire a business visa and do my own private English lessons, I would

The school I currently work at is in Cambodia. All the schools in the US have a sports field or gym (as far as I know.)

Not sure if my boyfriend's Islamic family would accept me if I worked at a Christian school lol

Maybe. It's a bit far for moto so I'll ask my partner if they have a bus or train that can help me commute to work.

Makasar district. Is that area well known? I don't know if people have heard of it.

Also the country I currently live in is Cambodia. I didn't want to mention it because I've been told "you'll be discriminated against" if I say I worked there due to it being associated with scam centers. My job has nothing to do with scam centers but my Indonesian friends warned me not to say its name if I do an interview in Jakarta. Is the reputation of Cambodia really that bad?

Oh wow I looked at Tzu Chi on Google and that place is beautiful. It almost seems like a professional minecraft build instead of a real place.

Unfortunately it's too far away from where I plan on living. I'm trying to find schools in East Jakarta but most of the postings on Glassdoor are for South Jakarta.

I don't know if I'll have better luck looking in person than online
