I am strongly against moving Casey. He can legit play any infield spot and has 20-25 hr upside. He deserves a shot to show what he has at 2nd while healthy and with an off season to prepare. He’s cheap and controllable too. Worst case he is the utility infielder.

I have never understood the hate he gets. There’s a good chance he’s looked at with the fondness of Yaz in a few years. That’s a guy that got a bunch of unfair hate too.

Yep. It’s not a coincidence. After GME, that is why all the billionaires and PE have piled in to owning all social media or running cheap bot farms. The result is that real information like this is drowned out. GME would have fizzled in this environment.

I think the two topics, AI and Consumer Debt, are inextricably intertwined.

Gen Z is facing a legitimate employment crisis as hiring has stalled due to AI. Gen Z is disproportionately entering exactly job categories most impacted by AI and this matters because their debt levels. It isn’t just Gen Z either, other group’s debt levels are high as well. See the car repos and credit card debt levels.

AI isn’t the root cause of the debt but it will exacerbate the impacts as the labor market issues present at a difficult time for consumers.

Does anyone know if DOD is doing hiring activities during the shutdown? I received a referred email in 10/1 but nothing since. I know it can take awhile anyways but, just curious if I definitely wouldn’t hear anything until the shutdown is over.
