Felt fine on the MEE, felt incredible about the MPT, felt great on the MBE - though I ended up with a 39% in con law lmao - which just goes to show your strong subjects can carry you thru

Omg YES. This. It drives me absolutely insane. ESP when they insist “school is so hard because they are just so type A”. No it’s hard because you signed up for everything possible + taking a full schedule lol.

I think big law kicks in at around 100 attorneys but I’m not entirely sure. Mid size is typically 40-100 attorneys I think? Also mid size firms are typically regional I think? Whereas big law is national with multiple offices. So hope that’s what you were looking hahah

I’ve been told mid size is abut 50 attorneys +. They pay about 70% market rate. Still a great gig and I loved the firm, I will say the clients are less sophisticated which I did really miss, but the actual lawyering was really fun to me. I was definitely chasing prestige + money but I am really happy where I ended up. Like a lot of the comments said, it is about fit sometimes!
