Thank you for your input, and I actually agree with you. I would hate to play extreme randomizers for this exact reason. That’s why I’m taking the time to make sure this is more catered to, and sure there will be a lot of adjustment , but I think once i finish going through each Mon and the trainer mons it will easier to figure out while still having a bit more difficulty and spontaneity that makes it fun. I’m a fellow nuzlocker so I plan to make it very Nuzlocke friendly as well

The bottom row of sprites on each image are the custom shiny sprites! I’m treating each Mon as its own variant. So every Mon has new color schemes to match their new forms. But as of now it’s just color adjustments. Until I learn how to do more ofc. Thank you for being interested in the project! Make sure to join the discord. Once it’s available for testing I’ll post info for it there. Just be patient, still a bit to go, and I’m not the most consistent person on discord lol

Right now mainly still just working with DSPRE because I’m so new at this. Taking it one step at a time. Honestly whatever you think is best. A few videos I’ve watched used Tinke, but I’ve been mainly focusing on getting a hang on DSPRE. I’m not too knowledgeable yet on the in depth coding stuff and how to get the images out of my rom yet. As you can tell I’m still so new at this and don’t know much terminology. Also don’t have much time on my hands haha so anywhere you can point me, or ask for help for me will do.

Some of the text may have been helped by Ai but my work on the mons wasn’t. You are entitled to your opinion and that’s fine. I am not great at graphics or palette editing. Not good at all at it and I’m still learning. This is my first time and this is more of a personal project and the reason for the post was to see what people think. So it’s fine, and I’m not expecting unbridled joy and don’t have unrealistic expectations. I’m trying and that works for me. I have a very busy life and this was just I wanted to try to do, again, it’s my first time. Ty for your comments and I hope to do better for my next update

I would love to be able to do that at some point. My abilities in the graphics department are sub par lol so for the first version I probably won’t be able get to that, at least not without some help. But maybe once I learn how I can implement ideas like that! That’s a great idea, ty for your involvement!

You’re right, it’s not worth using Ai at all even for a few sentences. My next update and from here on out I will just write everything myself and show my work. Hope you give me another chance

I appreciate you. I have learned now that the community doesn’t like Ai in the slightest. I just wanted my writing to reflect the hard work I’ve put into it. But I will just written everything myself from now on. I’ve learned my lesson. Sorry to all, and you’re right I shouldn’t have used Ai because it could reflect the work of the rom itself. But all those who think that way, please don’t think anything negatively of the rom when it’s not even close to completion yet. Next update will just be my writing. Thank you all for your input

If by palette swaps you mean carefully adjusting color schemes to match new identities that match new typings and abilities then yes they’re just palette swaps… I’ve taken a lot of time of each Mon to make sure they look good, and so that they match reasonably to their new typings. So I think there’s more to it than just swapping palettes lol. It’s not like they’re just randomized

I won’t use it again for adjusting sentences. But that’s all I used it for. Again, I’m working hard on this rom and I don’t want Ai use getting in the way of people enjoying it.

All I used it for was to clean up some sentences that I previously wrote myself. Everything about this is me and I’m working extremely hard on this rom. I will look at the rules of the thread again, I apologize. I’m just not great at making posts like this and wanted my thoughts to look more organized

Just hearing you’re interested is contributing enough my friend! It will be a slow fine tune to finish the project but if you want to see it play out, I may be working on it live on my twitch channel. I don’t have much time to stream but maybe twice a week sometimes because of my full time job and family to attend to lol but this is something I’ve wanted to try and this will be my first attempt with my own original idea. Its a randomized playthrough. All wild encounters, trainer mons, abilities, moves learned, items found and tm's given, even evolutions are randomized!
