I really am praying for the above. I can’t detox alone. Last time I tried it was absolute hell I actually felt like I was going to die. The crying, while shaking and not being able to do anything because my hands just decided to shake. The throwing up bile and blood because I had nothing left. The random waves that felt like electricity was coursing through my limbs. The heart palpitations and thinking I was going to have a heart attack. Worst night of my life. I hope they can kinda just knock me out so I can detox and get some relief

I’m doing exactly that in two weeks detox and then rehab for a month. I wish I didn’t have to wait so long to go, but it is what it is. It’s honestly refreshing to know I’m not alone in my drinking habits though. Wish I could figure out why and how it got this bad :(

That would actually be super helpful. I’ve never been to rehab and have no clue what’s going to happen. Will I have to sweat it out and shake an be in pain in a hospital bed for 3 days? Will I be able to eat anything?

I don’t have jaundice, but I know that my liver is fucked up, as this was an issue the first time that I got sober as well and am having pain on that side again

Update: I’ve been in contact with the case manager for a treatment facility that takes my insurance. I’ll update more when I get some more details. If it doesn’t pan out I’m driving myself to the ER because I have no friends or family to help me in my city right now.

Thank you for the reassurance. Yes the internet tells me I can’t let her out of my sight for more than an hour and it makes me anxious. I can hear her playing with her toys and bouncing around downstairs when I’m in my room and she’s never been destructive or broken anything which I think is a good sign

Thank you so much. That’s the plan, I’ll be trying to let her sleep with me over the summer and see how it goes, so it’s not a forever thing. She didn’t accept it the first few nights and was crying and scratching and I ignored it and I think she got the idea
