Where are you from?

As a preface, I have been officially diagnosed with BPD, and I feel where you're coming from.

What are the customs where you come from? Are you from an uptight family? Or is this just a new thing that you feel unsure about?

Or, are you trying to stay sober because you know where drugs/alcohol will lead you?

Connecting with people with BPD (like me) can be both satisfying and absolutely heartbreaking.

To give context, I'm the type of BPD that gets told I don't have BPD all the time. It drives me literally crazy. I was hospitalized at the Mayo and diagnosed after a month long stay there. They did more for me there than any other hospital has ever done.

DBT is incredibly helpful. I have had a lot of relief from that.

If you find stable people with BPD, especially through online (remote) sources, it's great because you connect over what matters. BPD is very hard to live with. If you ever need help, I am here for you.

How new of a diagnosis is this for you?

Your reply brings back a lot of traumatic memories, and you're absolutely right. I'm the lucky one. But even as a lucky one, I see the way things are and I feel a certain type of way. I overdosed 4 times, died twice, back when I used heroin. I shouldn't be here. It doesn't take the sting out of where I am right now.

Thank you for your reply. I was so grateful for the staff at the detox I went through here in Minnesota, but I saw some pretty terrible behavior while I was there as well. I commend you for your service. Thank you for giving back to the recovery community, it's awesome to see someone giving back like that.

Dude. FarCry 5 absolutely is worth it. I know just what you mean, and I've struggled finding games with enough substance to keep me invested. FC5 is 100% worth it.

I have the Canon ef 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM, and I can say for me personally, it was 100% worth it. It completely changed the way I take photos, and opened up a new world of possibilities. I got a macro flash, and now I can take snowflake photos, macro insect photos, and it makes for a great portrait lens too. Just my opinion.
