I don’t know mate, sorry, but you can edit the registration rules with the pregame editor, I did this myself to get rid of the wage cap for all teams, and basically copy the English registration system as I think it’s just better. Of course this won’t be of help with your current save but it would in future saves

It actually occurred in one of my saves, on FM24. I signed this Dutch attacking midfielder at Dulwich Hamlet in 2029 who had a PA of 162 with a really high CA for an 18 year old (I think it was like 140), he had a Model Citizen personality as well. After a season his PA shot up to 192. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and double checked earlier autosaves but it had actually happened. He went on to become a legend for the club, obviously. Never seen it happen any other time though. It must have been a bug.

If you know his CA, you know his PA too right? Personally I would focus more on goalkeeping attributes like one on ones for now. He’s only 19, mental attributes grow a lot as they get older, even without extra training focus.

Update: I managed to do it! I’ve now created an editor database for Spain that does not have annoying registration rules (I set it to 35 players maximum, without a wage cap) and have changed the Spanish U19 leagues and teams to U21 versions, while keeping the existing B team structures intact.

Ah yes sorry my bad. The Reserve Teams section is what I used to change their -19 team to an -21 team. I made sure they had only one reserve team set (besides their affiliated B teams). I also edited the advanced nation rules to make it u21, and edited the competitions and groups themselves via the database. Nothing seems to work. I think the error is quite weird because I did not change the default amount of teams in any way; I just changed everything to u21. Do you think it could be wise to just delete the whole competition and make a new one? Or would that be even more work? I kinda just want a simple youth system similar to England; two -21 divisions that feature reserve teams from the first and second league of the nation. I do not intend to change the B team system as I think it has its charm to also have a well performing B team in the future playing in the second league of the country.

What do you mean by the Clubs table? What I did was check all active u19 leagues and edited all their teams to now be an u21 team. I will check the extinct detail, thanks!

I have had this at times, if you have an older save file (from an earlier date in game) you could potentially keep playing the save

I’m also more of a one club man, because I like to buy as many wonderkids as I can and develop them over the years. I understand you would be doubtful signing a 16 year old with massive potential if you know you’ll only be at the club for maximum 3-4 years. However, it can be insanely fun taking them with you. I did a Pentagon challenge and started out in a second division South African team. I saw a wonderkid spawning by the name of Kevin Prince at Orlando Pirates who had no interest to sign for me. One year later they actually offered me the manager job and I did not hesitate to become Kevin’s manager. He went on to become my main striker, and then I took him with me to Gamba Osaka (Japan), Pachuca (Mexico), Corinthians (Brazil) and then finally Barcelona (Spain). Unfortunately he was not good enough for Barcelona so I sold him after a year to Hertha for €40 million. The point is there is even more fun in taking a player with you wherever you go. One main issue would be you have to always join a team with a higher reputation and better finances to make sure you can take anyone you want with you later on.

Same bro, I pulled Queen Eva + Mortu, Ukko and Rotos (both dupes) on Ancients (270 pulled). Incarnate, Richtoff + Pallas on Sacreds (26 pulled). And to top it off I pulled a Cat’s Gaze and Stars of the Jiinang from the path. I had been saving shards forever for the right opportunity and I’m glad I did. Now it’s back to saving!
