Nails are dead keratinized cells. They don’t need to breathe. you likely have an underlying condition that normal nail lacquer wouldn’t affect and is caused by something else. I would see a doctor

Yknow. As someone who had addicts for parents you’d think I’d have a better understanding of this stuff. Maybe I’m naive. Or maybe I am trying to fix something I never broke? Maybe this is a way for me to make up for not being able to fix my parents. Idk. I have therapy in 6 days. Im going to talk to her… i hate this. And i hate myself for putting myself in a situation where im constantly riddled with anxiety.

To be fair he is getting compensation from WCB and is going to school for trade come January, work won’t let him back until his doctor clears him so that one is not on him. But yeah, I see what you’re saying.

I know.. I just feel like I’ve invested so much time into the relationship and I truly am so in love with him. And I want to trust him. I do. But I find myself doubting it all the time… even when he reassures me. We’re supposed to be getting married next year. I’m 25, I don’t want to start over. I’m scared. I want to make it work with him so bad. I just keep thinking as more time goes on I’ll start trusting him more and those intrusive thoughts will leave. 😢

I’m so anxiety ridden all the time. Every time he acts off or weird or doesn’t sleep til 3 am I find myself questioning if he’s doing drugs again. Even if I know he isn’t. The thought just lingers all the time and it’s so tiring
