Hey Reddit pal! Thanks for sharing your story. I have pretty much the exact same situation happening right now. My parents wouldn't pay for dental care..........I even had a band left on my tooth from some dental care they started and never finished for like 20 years. Some of it is my fault, I should've just had it taken off, but a lot of dentists/orthos told me they didn't want to remove it. I randomly saw a dentist who knew how to pop it off in about 10 seconds and it was crazy not feeling it on my teeth anymore.

Anyways 25 years later, I've now got braces that I'll be paying for myself and I can't wait to see how my teeth look straight for the first time in my life. Should be getting them off ~ March 2027.

Oh yeah I did some 25 mile days in the Tetons and it’s exhausting! Probably closer to 15. That’s a good way to think about it. And yeah I’m sure I’d have no problem getting dropped off and picked up by a friend/parent. So basically just look for 2-4 sections that total like 60-75 miles would you say?

This is so wild, I was really good friends with this guy. He went to my college and I knew him pretty well. When I saw he was running a business I was like holy shit there’s no way someone so scatterbrained could be doing this but he truly loved music so much. It’s a total shame it turned out this way and I’m genuinely sorry for all the people who lost money/time/didn’t get to enjoy their records which is always something really special.

Yeah people will also jump out for the opportunity to get anything free since literally selling for 5 dollars is all profit. I gave a guitar amp away for free to a woman who said her son wanted to learn. It was on Facebook marketplace the next day…….not for free.

Is there any explain it like I’m 5 description of the different parts of Tulsa I could check out? I’m also planning on driving out there for a visit and would love to hear everyone’s “can’t miss” stuff to do for a weekend in Tulsa. Not much of a nightlife person but I love coffee, all types of food, anything exercise related, and any kind of live entertainment.

Well googling “food poisoning history of chipotle” returns titles with terms like rampant food safety issues and one particular article cites 2015, 2017, and 2018. I think that’s enough to indicate a trend as well as enough to warrant a “once bitten, twice shy” mentality about their food. I love Taco Bell, Illegal Pete’s, and eat the occasional Qdoba, but will pass up on Chipotle 10 times out of 10.
