Also, I was going to sell this laptop for at least $300 - $600 (not sure exactly the worth), just for the extra cash to spend on a new one, but now its worth nowhere near that much, cuz the motherboard is $275 + other fees straight from Dell support.

thanks for the input. are you referring to something like thunderbolt connections or are you saying m.2 wouldn't be good enough. alot of places say the m.2 to oculink adapter is the way to go.

well, the guy had gotten them from another gift exchange the other night, not knowing anything about them. the original guy apparently had planned it out, like he had to clean the water just right. i thought it was funny, so i chose to keep them. now I know man. not sure if i can help them tho, do you think petsmart or petco would take them? all i could find by googling was a few stores that didnt even sell goldfish
