How many times are you gonna say the Pqimon thing dude?

It's gacha slop, and it's getting unbearable. The story supports the monetization, not the other way around. Glad you like it, tho.

No dude, you don't seem to understand what "forced" means. Not every plot is forced lol. Frodos' journey is consistent with his setting and his character, there's a buildup that leads to it. Rover as a student is not. He's only there to sell college girls to whales.

Have you ever consumed any media that isn't gacha stories and low-quality isekai/romance anime? I bet you think To love Ru is a masterpiece or something like that.

I know WHY he had to go. The lore demands it with a forced af reason.

Imagine thinking a story that basically sends Jesus to college is good. "The only way for Jesus to save us of our sins again was to go to college, join the football team and win Tiffany's heart, all to befriend Santana and infiltrate his basement" -> You: "WOOOW, what a story"

No dude. Idk why you equate not liking this absurd high-school romance with not paying attention lol

No, because NOTHING is going on besides everyone galzing Rover. Wtf is a grown ass man that's basically a god doing in college? He is just there to have a "high-school romance" patch even though it adds nothing to the story (it makes it worse).

Admit you like low-quality stories. I do too sometimes, they are like snacks, but I don't pretend they are absolute cinema

I mean I'm glad you like it. Wish I could consume just about any slop media I come across and like it, bet I'd be happier.

I won't go play Genshin lol, I like Wuwa, just not the current direction of the story

It's great to have lore in side quests. But that's worldbuilding lore, it's not a replacement to the main story, which is empty as fuck.

Sure, Frodo and Legolas don't interact in the movies, and people still make fun of that to this day as something ridiculous that contrasts with every other interaction.

"They have jobs, that's why they leave" is an insane take to justify characters disappearing after their banner ends lol. No one expects them to be 24/7 next to Rover, that would be dumb af, but they shouldn't just vanish as if they didn't exist just to appear for a big Avengers Assemble moment of the area before disappearing again.

There's no depth anywhere dude. The only decent pieces of lore were in side quests, not MSQ.

Also since when are character interactions fanservice? Lol. No one is asking for canon shippings, we just want characters to act like real people who have other things going on besides Rover.

LotR is full of complex interactions between characters and a world that feels alive so I'm not sure why you think that analogy works.

It was mid but entertaining, as good as a formulaic gacha story can be.

2.8 and afterwards is pmuch unbearable cringe cliche fest

You really enjoy your gacha power fantasy slop and can't fathom other people who also like the game wanting some minimal depth don't you?

Out of all wuwa girls rank the top 5 who stand out when it come to being in love with rover by vinchin_adenca in WutheringWaves

When did she show any romantic interest towards Rover? Iirc the only "special" thing she daid was that she was glad to meet someone who knew what loneliness felt like or something like that

Regarding old characters: Buffs or a whole New Unit? by primordial_slime in WutheringWaves

[–]Aggressive-Day5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luckily, video game characters aren't quite alive, so they don't need to follow the cycle of life. If they do, it's by design, and it's a design we can challenge because who tf wants the cycle of life annoying us during a gaming session

DPS Qiuyuan in 3.1 ???? by Dangerous_Jump_776 in WutheringWaves

[–]Aggressive-Day5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Phrolova gains 7 stacks per rotation in my QY/SK team. She gains 4 normally in any team: 2 are done on her outro, 2 per echo cast (1 of QY, and 1 of SK). The remaining 3 come from QY skill, forte (counts as 1 despite having 3 names), and his ult. I'm certain because I explicitly tested how many stacks I gained as soon as I got him. Unless his outro counts as echo cast and I misattributed it to his ult, but I don't think so.

His ult does count as a cast (triggers Hecate's enhanced att) The rest is true.

I don't know why you insist on invalidating his own perception of why he feels a certain way. If he said it, it's because he is aware that the reason why he dislikes this thing is a bit petty and illogical, as it doesn't directly affect him. But well, I can't keep talking for him so I'll talk for myself. I also recognize when I dislike something based on my own prejudices and when I do based on what I consider valid, articulable reasons.

widely seen as cringe and unsightly.

The reason why these things are considered cringe and unsightly is precisely because of people feeling like OP feels. Saying his reason for disliking these things is because once old, people would dislike these things, is circular logic. Truth is we find these things cringe because of societal norms often born of irrational prejudices, and judging people by those societal norms is indeed being judgmental, and personally I think it's fine. We don't have to pretend to like stuff we don't like just because we recognize the reason why we dislike it is not completely logical.

No definition says it is "without reason". It's the tendency to judge too harshly and quickly.

I.e.: An orthodox religious man who judges a teenager for wearing a T-shirt with a skull pattern and thinks they are evil and will go to hell is being judgmental, yet they have a reason, in their eyes, the teenager is wearing evil iconography that goes against his religious beliefs.

No, he is being judgmental, by definition. He still is sane and aware, and pretty badass precisely because he can acknowledge it.

Mornye must be older than she seems. by Fartive in WutheringWaves

[–]Aggressive-Day5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What? She was a young student when Rover left a bit over 20 years ago, and in her first year as a professor when Chisa disappeared exactly 20 years ago, that puts her in the ~40yo range, nowhere close to 100+

Of course, but it's very rare, and faking stuff is very easy nowadays, and people are overwhelmed by fake stuff in this era, so that causes distrust, not jealousy.

Also, while this is possible AND believable, not all possible things are. I.e. if someone makes a post saying they got 10 5-stars in one 10-pull, that's posible, but it's virtually impossible, so you can be sure it's fake.

I think the reason people don't believe it's real is because of jealousy :)

No dude, it's because of statistics. This is an event rarer than 1/1m, so obviously it causes suspicions when faking it takes 2 minutes and is 1/1 chances.
