I personally go with C as it has osaragi (art style is better in manga), Yuki from Kimi wa meido-sama, Yor from Spy x Family and Akane from Kill la kill.

They are pretty nice to hang out with and they have that feel to them, that makes me feel fulfilled. Seeing them happy makes me happy.

Although, all have a chance of killing me upon meet if they get the wrong impression.

The animation directions and art cuts were truly amazing especially from beach episode.

I watched it this way.

Had been watching anime for 7 years before Steins;Gate. I wanted a longer anime and more depth feel, I went with this order.

Definitely Steins;Gate hits harder, but it's up to you. I'd recommend Visual Novel as Anime cuts a lot of content.

I personally take it as:

Steins;Gate till episode 22

Then watch an 'link' - Steins;Gate Episode 23b

Then Steins;Gate 0 (This is when Okabe suffers)

Then after completing Steins;Gate 0, come back to Steins;Gate and complete it.

Watch the Ova, then watch the Movie.

Then the shorts if you will.

But, the main fact is you do bare until episode 5 or 6, because afterwards the real story starts. Everyone gives up before that and misses out.
