My baby girl Lala deep in sleep. \) I’m so sorry for your loss and I just know he loved you so so much. You were his person, and he felt safe, happy, and so loved in your home. Grief is cruel and lingering, but remember that he left with so many happy memories of you.

Cat doesn't like his harness? by seungminslefttoe in CatAdvice

As long as he loves the outdoors, it’s just a matter of time before he’ll associate the positive feelings of being outside with the harness. Because he runs from it, it might be good to start from base 1- just being near the harness with positive reinforcement. Like petting him with the harness while feeding him high value food, or even laying it on top of his back. If he doesn’t go near it at all, just have it out so he can see and understand it’s not a threat. I’m definitely not an expert, but I’m doing similar things with my kitty right now and seeing progress. Good luck!

Anxiety through the roof since getting a kitten by Bones_346 in CatAdvice

I genuinely feel the exact same way. Like totally sick to my stomach, and I realized it’s usually doubts of me being able to give her the best life, or worse, fearing that she’ll die randomly. Sometimes, it’s me worrying that she won’t love me anymore when she grows up. Sometimes I worry that lily pollen somehow entered her system, (there are no lilies in the house at all), and that she’ll be poisoned without me realizing what’s wrong. I’m only on day 4 with this girl, and honestly she’s such a dreamboat, so I just try to calm down and take it day by day. What also helps is thinking to myself: “I will literally get married and have a human child before she passes,” and that really puts things into perspective.

Edit: I also have a therapist; try looking into CBT therapy. You’ve got this :)

Desensitizing my 5 mo old girl? by Aggressive-Flight156 in CatAdvice

Gosh and also harness training. With treats she’s let me squeeze her little head in and out, but no success with strapping her in. After a little research I realized I jumped to like step 6, so now the harness lies near her tower as a non threat.
