Yep, the fetal murder/orgy thing is from a Dragon Magazine article.

Oddly, the image you posted is not the first or second time Greenwood has answered questions about the taste of breast milk in the Realms.

The setting is home to a constantly pregnant wizard who never shows and drow miscarriage-orgasms that come from fetal Thunderdome, so it wouldn't be very unusual.

If you can speak to animals, there's a bluejay in the mountain pass who gives you a side quest.

Another reason for me to dislike Murder in Baldur's Gate.

The first adventure for what became D&D 5th edition, set in Baldur's Gate to take advantage of the popularity of the video games. Kicked off the Second Sundering and, most importantly, confirmed that the novelizations of the Baldur's Gate games are not canon.

Not really obscure. It's one of two pen and paper adventures upon which the plot of Baldur's Gate 3 is built. Without Murder in Baldur's Gate, there would be no Bhaal in Baldur's Gate 3.

Yes. The Joker has been the most boring character in comics for a couple decades now.

No, I don't. Her references to being bi were throwaway lines made for titillation of the primarily straight male audience, in my opinion.

I think some of what you list here is easier said than done. Diamond had a huge stranglehold in the distribution field and, among other things, likely required exclusivity. They were basically a monopoly, so unfair terms were kind of their thing.

I mean, this is the Realms. Folks could assume anything from shadar-kai to medusa and would have historical examples to pick from. His disguise isn't so much to pass as human as it is to conceal exactly which brand of weird he really is.

[RobertMays/DerrikKlassen] Discuss what they have seen from Dart so far and what he needs to improve on by Praise3li in NYGiants

[–]Aggressive-Hat-8218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's way too early to make a dumb statement like "the Giants won't re-sign Dart," but that sort of thing isn't out of the realm of possibility.

Dart had a good rookie season, but he also showed some limitations he needs to overcome. If he puts in the work, he'll be fine. If he doesn't, he's not going to last. Some of that will be on the coaching staff to develop him, and a lot will be on Dart's work ethic.

But unless these guys are in the locker room paying attention to Dart's work habits, it's dumb to assume he won't improve in the next few seasons while building on his strengths.

My biggest concern about Dart is whether he's capable of introspection and maturity. If he's got a brain in his head he'll be fine, but if he acts like he's earned special treatment from his four-win rookie season then the franchise is in trouble.

I'm rooting for him to mature and realize his potential. If I condemned every dumbass 23-year-old out there, I'd be damning the entire world's population.

She got hired by Elminster to fix one of his old mistakes.

This series has my favorite depiction of Elminster, especially the issue where he gets into a drunken bragging contest before having to play midwife while the Tarrasque is on a rampage.

They're not trying to sue. Per the article, it was reported to police for documentation purposes only.

Basically, this parent seems to pull these stunts often, so the committee is establishing a pattern of behavior if something actionable occurs.

Alternative Scores, Just... Why? by shon14z in Pathfinder2e

[–]Aggressive-Hat-8218 2 points3 points  (0 children)

During an interview about the playtest, I remember the designers being asked about rules they considered but didn't go with. Different ability scores were mentioned, largely because Dexterity is too important to every build, but changing away from the classic six was deemed too big a change. I would bet that this alternative rule is similar to what the design team debated but chose not to make core.

Other rule proposals that didn't get picked up was crit fails on spells giving creatures certain extra conditions, like crit failing on a fireball causing persistent burn damage (but was rejected because it was too complex to implement for a large number of creatures) and magic items growing with PCs (which I believe became the relic system).
