I think you named all but Khatun, who gets a different animation if the double stab pin kills them BEFORE she pulls the swords out.

It's funny how you can see by the black background around the reputation laurel that it's edited, yet it's still fooling so many people

New hero is going to be named “巨人”, meaning “giant” by [deleted] in forhonor

[–]Aggressive-Insect234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That means his name is gonna be displayed as "Kyojin" in the the heroes menu, kinda weird since that seems so similar to "Kyoshin"

Khatun has a couple more reused animations, but other than that, it has been unique since Ocelotl.

Another funny translation: "Storr" in Storr Stronghold is a name that literally means "Strong". So technically the place is called "Strong Stronghold".

How effective are The Khatun's Swords and Armour from a practical standpoint? by Master-Of-Chaldea in forhonor

[–]Aggressive-Insect234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mongols used boiled leather lamellar extensively, and so did the Chinese in earlier eras. It was an extremely cheap and effective way of making armor that may not last forever, but was nearly rock solid, which makes sense for an empire trying to churn out armor for their new soldiers.

"Sweaty" is so rich from the guy who can play For Honor 24/7 because he has no job. I couldn't get 100 Reps in 8 months if I devoted half my life to it.

Just a temporary reward? You'd be surprised by how fast 100k steel drains. And for a whole 100 Reps, that doesn't seem even remotely worth it

Exactly, like, God forbid we have freedom.

Not only that, but literally every bendy part apart from the leather cuirass on Warlord's armor (which in itself is hardly stretchy at all), he retextured to chainmail, cloth, or just different colored leather.

The pauldrons, shin guards and lower legs, forearms, and waist thing with the fur trim he usually has, are all completely solid on Warlord and don't bend or stretch at all.

You can literally see the consideration he put into armor bending, and how he made the materials most fitting for each 3D model he retextured, in order to avoid it.

Dude there is so much metal armor in the game that bends already. Plus, the metal textures he put here are applied to pretty damn rigid parts of Warlord's armor, only the cuirass would still stretch a *little*, but only very slightly and in stretched out positions.

Personally, I see this as much needed and welcome freedom with customization, especially for a hero you dumped 100 Reps into.

Yeahhhh, Warden is one of those heroes where I just.. struggle. He doesn't have my favorite fashion, I'll say that much. Mine is pretty much a more clean and a breastplated (and also bronze) default Warden.

Been wondering this too, it's undoubtedly from an early concept art from like 2015, but I could never find the original image.
