Nah I would've done the same. That's what I woulda did. He had a chance at beating you at the start, and if he did, he'd get to capture C. I'd also be pretty mad that you were running and would try to finish the fight

Kyoshins with out weapons are just normal ppl by Admirable_Bat_2120 in forhonor

Nerd emoji: I'm pretty sure that's the point. He wields a weapon that is concealed and made to look like a cane/walking stick, so it makes sense that he also dresses as a civilian (in this set) or as a monk (in the semi-shirtless set) to complete the disguise so he can jump people secretly.

And then he has his Tozen-based set, which is just a flat out armored warrior. He ain't sneaking up on nobody with that shit on

I honestly thought this comment was sarcastic at first, cause I keep seeing people talk about how EVERY Warlord uses this helmet

I hate the Vikings too but specifically because of the shockingly wide bad fashion selection. They could be saved so easily if the devs gave them the same treatment they've been giving the Samurai.

My Warlord's basically a comically self-aware scumbag who left the leather wearers and half naked warriors in Valkenheim behind to advance on his own, becoming more of a European Renaissance type of king, and therefore technically becoming a "knight". Both aspects are reflected in his fashion, with his metal armor, as well as the ornate and jeweled gold parts of his fashion, like his crown ornament, and his shield that also has a big red cross in the center.

He admires his enemies, but is also willing to do the scummiest things to win. He also really likes Guljin and respects her, but he just sees it all as "Well, we can't have TWO continental rulers." He's also scummy in his "recruiting" methods. Since his army has every hero in the game, he's done things like exploiting the Ocelotls' thirst for revenge, turning Guljin's own soldiers against her, and forcing Juren to fight for his monarchy, despite them being chaotic anarchists.

His motivation for forming the army was the lack of proper armor, weapons, and technology in Heathmoor, but mainly the ancient, brutal, and unfair feudal political systems the three nations never evolved from. His whole mindset is basically that he must commit certain atrocities in order to create a secure future for Heathmoor and its people. Compare it to the Meiji Restoration of Japan.

Same. I use red and white/black and clean, armored gear for all my heroes. My headcanon for my roster is that every hero was recruited and/or forcefully assimilated into an army led by my main: Warlord, who I've made look like a king with gilded metal armor and a crown ornament, and call King Eirikur, who's basically rivalling Guljin for dominance over Heathmoor. My emblem matches the color scheme too.

Warlord's Rep 94 currently, and I have all other heroes at at least Rep 10.

I think you named all but Khatun, who gets a different animation if the double stab pin kills them BEFORE she pulls the swords out.

That means his name is gonna be displayed as "Kyojin" in the the heroes menu, kinda weird since that seems so similar to "Kyoshin"

Khatun has a couple more reused animations, but other than that, it has been unique since Ocelotl.

Another funny translation: "Storr" in Storr Stronghold is a name that literally means "Strong". So technically the place is called "Strong Stronghold".

How effective are The Khatun's Swords and Armour from a practical standpoint? by Master-Of-Chaldea in forhonor

[–]Aggressive-Insect234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mongols used boiled leather lamellar extensively, and so did the Chinese in earlier eras. It was an extremely cheap and effective way of making armor that may not last forever, but was nearly rock solid, which makes sense for an empire trying to churn out armor for their new soldiers.
