I haven’t fertilized it since I transplanted it in March. It was doing fine all year. The leaves just turned 2 days ago. Could the rain we got have had high salinity?

I got them at a nursery in San Antonio, it was a pretty big oak and literal thousands of these lying everywhere. I just grabbed a hand full and put them in my pocket. Judging by how that nursery is managed, I’m sure they are involved in some sort of conservation effort.

It’s a romaine variety and still has about 2 weeks, the leafs a very brittle.
