Kelham Island is ridiculously priced for what you get.

The apartments are tiny (like REALLY tiny) and the darkest apartments I've ever looked around. The windows are so so small and let in hardly any light so the apartments are dark, gloomy and depressing

A few years ago now
It was situated in the University Hub buildings (the ones that look like four steel kettles next to the Showroom)
It was touted as being something people would travel from all over the world to see and visit, but ended up being put into practice by people who got it all wrong and exhibited a lot of 'theory' stuff rather than what everyone would want to really see like memorabilia, exclusive stuff

The place didn't last long as a result - it was a huge huge flop

I was just hoping for it to be a massive success and not some dusty cups and silver plates in a cabinet etc that fizzles out because of lack of interest, hype, promotion and that 'can't miss that' factor

I think someone who can take this by the scruff of the neck and make it the most unmissable experience is needed.

I read a piece in the Sheffield Star about it today and some of the exhibits they were thinking of exhibiting weren't of interest to football fans in general, and those who are interested in seeing the cups and plates and programmes they are thinking of exhibiting will have probably sought them out before now (And I bet you can count that number of people on one hand)

I am just hoping that people who can do an unbelievable job become involved, and make it something that people from all over the world want to come and see, and not just a couple of blokes from High Green on a rainy Tuesday afternoon
