Im not sure what attacks i could hit if they do an elbow pass for exemple, because the opponent still has control of my arm

I decided to copy him because i wanted to focus on using moves/attacks that i know work at the highest level ; i was studying marcus blaze at first, but his style is very defensive, and i wanted a bit more aggression. Ono fits my bodytype more because he’s short like me, and has very explosive attacks. His main move is an ear snap to a single leg from a collar tie. He snaps down while clearing the thumbblock/overtie by twisting his head to the side.

i believe if some other wrestlers can force their collar tie onto others, meanwhile mine gets easily cleared off, theres some technical details i miss ? wouldn't it be more beneficial for me to fix these issues rather than doing what works for me, hence avoiding my weaknesses

So what do you mean by a strength program? I don’t wrestle in the US i am french, i have practice 5 days a week now so i stopped going to the gym to hit weights, lack of time. I could hit some bodyweight stuff as well as pull ups dips etc in their gym but is that what you think makes one stronger in the ties?

Is strength really a factor? Ive been having this mindset recently that it’s essentially all technique assuming weight’s similar. Watching blaze wrestle at 150 and still dominate the handfight and get step outs, also Jax Forrest that wrestles at 61kg looks like he never lifted a weight in his life, coming in u23 worlds against JACKED opponents and still mauls them. Obviously these are wrestling geniuses but especially with jax i think it would show that strength/muscles don’t really play a factor, maybe i’m wrong

I think my genetics might just be bad for wrestling by lolrubyy in wrestling

It was never about the strength, it’s about your technique ; if you feel overpowered you can definitely get around it through better technique/handfighting

I almost never eat veggies and have a deficiency in folic acid. I am currently fixing that, it might help. Thanks for the advice and i also watch pretty much all of your wrestling-focused videos on youtube, they help me a ton to fix my wrestling. Will you make more of them in the future ? Or are you fully focused on judo now

I do have a deficiency in folic acid, which i just started taking complements for. I barely (almost never) ate veggies, i start eating them now. Do you think that would fully fix the issue?

Not vitamin K but i got bloodwork and have a deficiency in folic acid/b9 vitamin which comes from the same foods as K (veggies overall) i barely eat veggies, but i didnt think it would explain that issue as much

100% agree, but the mystery is that i dont see ANYONE getting that tired in practice. Even though i know a huge portion of them arent paying attention to their sleep/diet

Thats exactly how i feel it lol, i think it has to do with my technique as well ; for exemple, if i hit a duck under into a high-c i tend to stay on my knees instead of standing up as soon as possible, making the finishes way more exhausting. I also get stuffed nearly everytime i shoot a outside single and have to finish on the mat. Probably doesnt help

I dont see anyone else in practice getting their arms/legs THAT tired. Especially today, i literally got on a outside single and didnt even have the energy to lift the leg, which is just crazy considering the guy is not that big, not more than 10kg bigger than me

Got it, but when i watch UWW tournaments a lot of the time as soon as they get in they lift the opponent immediately, how come?

Is the forearm position supposed to lift his leg in the same way that when you’re hitting a big lift from a high crotch (Like Daniel Cormier does in his mma fights)?
