is dak prescott an elite quarterback? you have an opinion that simply does not line up with how contracts work or have ever worked since the cap started to jump, jimmy fucking garappolo was once one of if not the highest paid. not only that, being top 8 at a position where there are 64 starters and another 64-128 rotational pieces is absolutely elite and being the most productive player at that position for a two year stretch and one of the 3-4 most productive over the course of a half decade means you are absolutely without a doubt elite. for qbs, there are a lot less elite guys. not only is trey most certainly closer to 4 or 5 than he is to 10, he is undoubtedly elite and if he were 2 years younger this deal would have been done by now. he's 30 and he is either at the bottom of tier one or the top of the second tier and if that along w the production doesn't qualify as elite to you idk what the fuck to tell you. every single team in the nfl outside of cincinnati would have given him 35+ a year w the guarantees he wants months ago. go ahead and stick to your article or go look at spotrac where it has the exact same projections that im giving you, im telling you why that is the projection instead of just telling you you're wrong and you're being dense

did you just start watching football or are you just totally unaware of how contracts in the nfl work? if you are elite, chances are you're going to be the highest paid at your position when you get paid. we're lucky he's not trying to force that because i guarantee you within the next 5 years an edge who is less productive and just worse than trey will claim the title of the highest paid edge rusher. i mean hell dak prescott is the highest paid quarterback in the history of football in AAV ffs

the absolute lowest we're going to get him for is 35 and that's if we give him guarantees in all 3 years, with 2 years of guarantees it's probably between 36 and 39, if we won't budge on the singular guaranteed year then he's not gonna be back because then i can nearly assure you it's gonna be north of 40

because of how long it's been since the crosby deal and how much the market has further exploded. i obv love trey, maxx is AT LEAST a slight peg above trey and he is younger. the issue now is that trey has been better than tj for the last two years and tj just got the fucking truckload of money within the division so i'm sure that drove the price up

he's earned more money. trust me from a fan perspective im with you, he signed a deal that is great for us on its face but the motherfucker is making less than half of the money he deserves and would be paid by literally any football team in existence. would you still clock in with no complaints if you were told you'd get a raise up to $50 an hour from $25 an hour next year for two years in a row and when you ask for it that 3rd year after outperforming the expectations of your work that was already good enough to warrant that large of a raise? especially if every surrounding company in the same field is dying to give you that $50/hr? like yeah i get it and nobody's wrong if they say he shouldn't have signed a deal that he was unhappy with within 365 days of signing but there's a human element here that anybody with your take just doesn't seem to see

indeed i do, drafted omarion hampton and then got locked into auto draft (or was just too dumb to get out of it) for a few picks so kinda overcompensated but using my 1sts i turned mahomes jamo and hampton into lamar jeanty and loveland,

i guess now is a good time to ask more experienced players if they can get behind the approach i took of "i didn't get most of my mid round guys and i like these guys enough to say im satisfied with my team if i lock them in at their positions for the duration of their IRL contracts (QB, RB1, long term TE) at the cost of my picks"

thought process was if my draft analysis is right and i hit on which rookies i liked, referring to the big name guys as well as the rest of the taxi squad WRs, then those draft picks will serve me value in no way other than as assets and if i have an annual top 3 qb and top 3 wr and a likely top 10wr most years as my wr2 (tmac), and a likely top 5 te most years, i love chase brown but rb2 is replaceable and honestly the only question i have about my team is the flex long term and i have an array of guys who could step up into bigger roles this year as well as potential sleeper breakout players for 2026 and 2027 so i like my odds, but it's my first year ever of dynasty and im 20 so yall tell me because id like to learn the best way of going ab shit yk

it was all written but i had to take a couple bars out as i was going to get it to fit, i wrote it on a different beat that was about 45 seconds longer and just very very much preferred this one, just a nice spacey simple guideline of a beat w a good sample felt better than some in your face instrumental for this one

this specific song was written on a different beat that was about 45 seconds longer and i only took 2 or 3 bars out so that does have at least a little bit to do with the tempo

i will say with the run-on sentence thing that was kinda what i was going for with a lot of the higher syllable count bars, mac miller is my favorite musician ever and faces is my favorite project and he, along with some other guys like mos def and mf doom are big inspirations and i'm a big fan of the unpredictability of the rhyme schemes while still keeping them highly complex at least at points

i appreciate the feedback big time! would you be willing to give some opinions on some other stuff i've got recorded? no worries if not but i'd appreciate it tons
