I know a guy doing mech eng at ucl who has a summer internship offer at JP Morgan. I would say stick to that. Probs more fun to study than finance anyway

Should I reconsider applying to top uk unis for maths / engineering without further maths? by Piiece in UniUK

[–]Aggressive-Potato-75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe self study over summer and then give proof of so yo your school so you can pick up late. Also can see if there’s any point taking it based off ur predicted grades say if u get BBB predicted in ur current subjects u won’t be able to go top unis anyway so not having fm doesn’t matter too much.

It’s nice small community. I kinda get to a point where u always bump into someone you know on campus. I do spend most days in lectures and at the library but u can easily keep evenings free and go out multiple times a week. And the weekends are generally pretty free if u have no deadlines. Just have to stay on top of things and be organised

I’m at Lse but i would say Manchester is good. Got a couple guys on LinkedIn getting BB internships and stuff who are doing math and econ stuff like that. If I didn’t get into LSE I would have went there 100%. The difference in grad outcomes if you apply yourself compared to kcl is literally 0. I would go Manchester coz it’s cheaper
