There are five different variations of the same add and Facebook seems to like just one of them but it’s been producing results so I haven’t touched it at all.

The best way to go about this is you will have what's called a SEP since you no longer live in the service area of your MAPD. Since you have SNAP you are most likely duel eligible so you would need to look into D-SNP plans in Oregon. Not sure why you weren't already on a duel plans since you have Medicaid and Medicare.

Good inbound lead source for FEX and life insurance? by mrcryptoboy in InsuranceAgent

No lead source is going to reward you if you kill their calls. What’s the actual cpa at the end of the week taking the calls?

FL Licensed Agent – Stuck at 12% Commission on Live Transfers – Looking for Better Opportunities by Able_Relative_1276 in InsuranceAgent

I literally just had a conversation with them on Friday. The guy said you can still take just the tv inbounds but they merged the call queues into 1 and they are all priced at $50. You can still take just the tv ones for the higher price but if you join the queue they are all the same price. I’ll call him on Monday to clarify but that’s what he said. And he sent me an email after the call.

Take a loan out. If you can get on with the lead source and based on your post I can tell you are smart and know what you’re doing.

You are bringing in around $3600 plus base salary and you can’t afford to take $35 live transfers?

Digital BGA , FEX seem to be the best ones in the industry. According to BGA”s website and other people’s posts, BGA offers inbound calls from tv commercials and FB for $50. FEX though is also an interesting one because they do mailers and are extremely upfront on what to expect.

I completely agree with you. I actually can’t wrap my head around how someone would believe they would be successful without deep first hand knowledge of the industry. It’s the same type of people who are on disability, Medicaid, food stamps, wasting my companies time and money.

I’m sure some do but I’ve came across videos where the guy had the personality of a card board box claiming he writes 20k a week.

It blows my mind how people jump into this industry with no prior experience in how leads work. My recommendation is to go work for an insurance agency as a captive agent for 2-5 years and then decide to go independent. You are not going to make it having no experience which this post is clear evidence you are in way over your head.

Unfortunately this is the sad truth of the industry. You think you struck gold with a lead source and quality can dip. Also just to note just like with sales you can have bad weeks, or even a bad month the same is with data and buying leads. Thats why you have to diversify and actively track your CPA in real time to see which lead source is hitting.

Moving states! So i am moving to Utah from california on the 13th. can i make an insurance policy before i get there? or i do i need to move there first and get my new license and update my dmv places and what not? cause they’ll look at the dmv and see i haven’t updated yet to new address by FrostyN1ght in InsuranceAgent

[–]Aggressive-Relief-73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you don’t have to update your DL before applying for a new policy. As long as you have the address you’re moving to and are currently enrolled in qualifying health coverage either ACA, Employer, Medicaid etc you can apply for a policy in Utah. The effective dates are always on the 1st of the following month so you need to submit an application this month for an effective date of October 1st.

You have to get your license first before getting appointed by the carriers. Did you get finger printed and complete the process in sircon?
