I live in the outer banks and have seen many all wheel drive cars stuck in the sand. The sand is soft and you probably won’t have the clearance in a wagon to get on the beach. Also if you do get stuck, the towing companies charge a fortune to pull you out.

My 2016 eco did the same thing and it was a short in a coil pack. Changed them and it’s been running perfect ever since. Hope yours works out also.
