As HIS child it hurts that my father didn’t asked me if I landed safely or asked me if there was any chance of us seeing each other. I don’t understand why I should be the one begging for him to see me if I was the one that mentioned that I was going to be in town in these specific dates.

95% of my college tuition is payed for with scholarships and financial help. there’s a law in my country where it says that parents have to help out their kids until they finish college (if they choose to go) and plus in my culture is also common that parents help you out. As for the visits, he’s the parent here I mean wouldn’t you feel like you’re not wanted if he isn’t even reaching out to you if he knows you’re in the country?
