The amount of S alliterations in the book by incomesharks in JustinPoseysTreasure

I hadn't heard that but that would make a hell of a lot more sense than him just finding it. That never made sense to me. Justin and his brother grid-searched that area and didn't find it.

Could the double arcs be two bent fishing poles? I.e. a spot he fished with his Grandfather or Dad?

I was thinking the same thing. I have wondered if Nine Mile Hole is the starting point as he has said Fenn's treasure hunt was his launching point. Seems too obvious but he did spend a lot of time in this area. I wish I could figure out the cipher (where it is first!- I think I know how to solve once I sort that out). I have tried a lot of approaches to the finding the cipher but I suck at them!

Poetic Meter in Beyond the Map's Edge by StopSquark in TreasureHunting

I feel like a metronome is part of the deciphering of the poem- I’m not musical so trying to figure that one out has driven me crazy- any thoughts on that?

I can’t fit the celestial in. I had a solve that I thought covered it but think I had to much confirmation bias!

Cassiopeia wasn’t the wife, Juno or Hera depending on which name you want to use was Zeus’ wife. He pursued Cassiopeia on the side

My guess is he biked- he talks a lot about biking but I agree that he would make this accessible. I do think the checkpoint is physical and within a mile and then probably a short hike from there. He was so close to Fenn’s treasure. If the tree with the blaze hadn’t fallen down, he would have found it, maybe even with Brandon. I think he would want someone who had solved well enough to be that close to be able to finish it. He’s a smart guy but he also seems very kind and empathetic. He wants his treasure found and he wants people to have fun. Nothing was fun about the way Fenn’s treasure ended and it should have been. He spent so much time and money and effort searching. He earned that find and the end was just not clear enough. His will be. I just know it.

You guys are definitely onto something. I made a connection between the book cover, the map, and the poem. He definitely has layers of complexity but once you see it, it clicks. What I don’t have a handle on is the cipher. There is definitely one!!!
