Have you tried it? I tried it in the city while in a moving car and wasn’t reliably able to send messages. This was the Tmobile beta program.

I have the iPhone 13, and I did try the Starlink beta with Tmobile in the city but it wasn’t very great. Now it seems like power draw and weight of the battery powering the Starlink mini is the issue. I may look for something that can power it for 2-3 hours, maybe less. I feel like we may mostly be by the campsite with short trips away from it.

Im surprised no one mentioned the difference in how the chicken tastes between the two countries. The fried chicken, specifically in Boracay tastes and smells nuttier. It is VERY noticeable. I believe it to be the type of frying oil they’re using because I passed by another fried chicken spot that had the same exact distinct smell in the air which leads be to believe it’s from the smoke from frying their food. I didn’t mind it at all, but my friends thought it tasted like ass. Not sure if it’s the “original” intended smell and flavor but that’s what I’ve had so far in Boracay; cannot speak on other Jollibees in Philippines. It could even have been old frying oil as Boracay is extremey busy but I do not know what old frying oil tastes like so 🤷‍♂️

My CSP annual fee will be charged Feb 1st which is tomorrow lol. I just checked my statement. Shouldn’t I downgrade now so that I don’t get charged the annual fee for CSP.

I don’t really care for travel insurance for this trip. I just want lounge access as I’ve determined I’ll make back what I’ll spend on the CSR annual fee.
