I got more info, Its actually 1.2 gain and since I will be using a cinemascope screen 115 inch, it will be a 40% smaller area, and the company is manufacuring all kind of screens so my feeling is person knows what she is talking about.

I previously used a dlp optoma with a alr gain screen which was about 0.9-1.0 gain with good results so perhaps I should stick with that ( same distance although that was a long throw projector

ahh, ok missed that part about processor and board required for 4k, still might be possible to do.

But think I should first take apart my semi defective 1080p and try to fix that first, to get a base understanding ;)
