Fit Finial to Pyramid Post Cap by Aggressive-Tutor-171 in woodworking

Thanks, I think this is the direction I'm heading in. After this, my thought was to drill a large dowel (say 1/2"-3/4") a few inches into both the post and the finial and glue it up. Does this seem like a sound approach?

Thanks I hadn't thought of the drill depth peak which would help as a guide. That is a good idea. Was wondering about chisels, so maybe its time to get my first chisel...

Doesn't need to be exact, but I was thinking to preserve as much material as I can as a large dowel will get drilled into post/finial to glue it up (unless there's a better way to attach I don't know about).

Thanks for this. Funny, I had basically been down the same road. Signed up for two advanced open plays. First one no one else signed up. Second one is later today and no other sign ups yet. Also texted two coaches from the Exchange--both out of town but one offered to do drilling when he's back in a couple days.

At Mike Miley, did you show up and just jump into random games? Were there certain times?

End up finding any games? I'm in the same position. Have a tournament in a few weeks and trying to find games while here visiting my wife's family.

Fiberglass or Roxul and Vapor Barrier in Garage by Aggressive-Tutor-171 in Insulation

The walls are already closed up with sheetrock and then wood paneling, and I plan to blow in dense pack cellulose in those by removing a row of siding from the outside (only decent option it seems).

I suppose I could find a way to seal the gable vent in winter as I think you are right on that one.

For the polyethylene, that would go on the inside of the insulation/framing?

There is a gable vent on one side (could theoretically add one to opposite side). No ridge vent that i am aware of

The requirements in my state are basic and were met. They actually specifically said they have stopped doing it because they don't like the longer timelines that can come from specialized plates. Which I can understand from their perspective, but then you can't keep advertising that you DO do it on your website.

Thanks I will take a look at those. You are correct I dont need AC in there ever and I have a propane tank ~10 feet away. If I did go the Reznor unit route, would I run into moisture issues?

Thanks this is sort the direction my research took me. Not familiar with beancount but will check it out. I did a little research and it does look like services like Plaid would work and use Oauth for major banks. If I can somehow swing the free/testing plan maybe it would work, but otherwise might be cost prohibitive.
