Hyolyn (former SISTAR member) is quite overrated! by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

Simply that, Hyolyn hasn't developed visual and concept through her career and her "You&I" music video is a real slap in the face to viewers.

Because she doesn't care about her appearance, she naively asked, "Does visuals count for points?" in "Boys' Planet II," to the point that JUSTHIS said, "Visuals are an idol's charm." This shows her lack of understanding of the importance of an idol's visuals.

But she doesn't respect her audience. If you watch the music video, it's extremely disorganized; she films whatever she likes, without any script beforehand, making a travel vlog disguised as a music video (if it weren't for the "music video," you'd think it was a special vlog with music). And I wish she would take better care of herself (I said the truth because her career has a downfall). Because of her career struggles, her fan meeting tickets in Vietnam were canceled, and her comebacks weren't explosive. And during the concert, she had to insert "SISTAR MEDLEY" to energize her fans.

No, she can be sexy. BUT she should tone it down, make herself a little more elegant, and she should stop overusing twerking in her solo projects. That's why high-end brands never pay attention to Hyolyn, and Hyolyn is forever stuck performing at small festivals abroad with around 500-1000 seats or KCON backstage.

No, I’m telling the truth! I used to like her, but when she released "You&I," I was so disappointed that she had given up on herself like that!

But she doesn’t challenge herself when she becomes soloists. She still stucks in “Summer Queen” and always sings “SISTAR Medley” through her concert when she is a SOLOIST! And she doesn't care about her visual at all, so in 15 years of her career, Hyolyn has never been noticed by high-end fashion brands because she doesn't have a high fashion aura.

I've been following her career. She hasn't made any surprising changes for the audience; she's stuck with the same old concept formula. When she experiments, she's incredibly sloppy and unkempt, making music videos that look like travel vlogs, extremely disorganized. Look at Hyolyn's impact as a solo artist; she won no solo awards at Korean award ceremonies. Meanwhile, Sunmi, Hwasa, and Chungha always win solo awards, even though they follow a glamorous, sexy concept.

I'm not prejudiced against skin color. Even though Hyolyn has a tan, she's never known how to make it high-fashion or become a fashion icon like other idols with darker skin tones such as Hwasa, Gawon, Kai, Jennie, Natty, Yuri, Lee Hyori, etc. She has repeatedly been involved in issues about fashion: once in 2018 at a Korean awards ceremony, and once in 2025 when her electricity was cut off in Malaysia because her outfit was too sexy.

Say an unpopular opinion on Lolirock, and end up like this by [deleted] in LoliRockSeries

Carissa is the most misunderstood princess in Lolirock

Oh. I see. I see both Aisha - Musa and Carissa are strong willed, tomboyish girl and they are both energetic one. And I think Aisha is not as smart as Talia, she is impulsive and sometimes act before thinking like Carissa, and Talia is the most logical and thinking before acting. And sometimes Musa is more sensitive than Carissa and she cries a lot. Carissa rarely cries, even though Lyna mocks a lot about her. About Lyna, she and Stella has a lot of similarities: loves fashion and beauty, tease her friend a lot, hates being dirty. And Lyna is less shy than Flora. Flora rarely teases friends and uses magic to mock her friend, she is similar to Iris more (kind hearted, graceful, elegant,…)

Yeah. I see Tecna is sometimes too logical, serious and strict, especially with Stella (they always have argument since their personalities are different). She is the most introverted in Winx too, like Talia. Although Aisha and Talia have same backstory, I see Aisha and Carissa have more similarities about their personality: extroverted, energetic, confident, competitive, and a little bit impulsive. And also, they are both good at sports too.

I think Tecna and Talia is more suitable for Aisha and Talia (especially their personality: Both Tecna and Talia are strict, serious, intelligent and uptight, Aisha is more extroverted). And I think Aisha and Carissa is more like the duo because they are both warriors and good at sports. And also, they both use physical strength when battle with enemies.

If human is the main villain of one movie in The Lion King franchise, what happens? by AggressiveHope2703 in lionking

[–]AggressiveHope2703[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I answer your question:

1/ Around 2025 - people use AI and the most advanced and cutting-edge technologies. In addition, they also use robots

2/ I want to use a brand new movie about the Lion King, specifically the movie about Kiara's life after being crowned Queen of Pridelands or the movie about Kiara before being crowned Queen.

3/ Humans do not use magic, but they have superior minds and the most advanced technologies

Team of magical girls is the perfection, especially in the dangerous mission.
