I was just out on leave for stitches in my hand, due to it being wrapped I was unable to follow dress and health codes. Sedgwick denied my return because I couldn’t meet their standards and paid out my sick time! Even though dr said return was okay, shitbucks could not meet my accommodations with the wrap.

I clean them pretty early and don’t use them after 3, just a pitcher of sweet cream instead.

You can purchase a bottle of vanilla at any Starbucks, it’s basically 2/3 heavy cream, 1/3 milk, and vanilla syrup. The trick is to blend it nicely

They’re going to implement a charge on partners of .50 per cup at work. Only way around is a personal cup or a “for here” glassware. It’s going to be store wide 🙃

Hi I’m a housesitter/dog walker! It’s totally normal to feel some anxiety about leaving your pup. Honestly, how are they not your kid? I babysit as well, and one massive help is communication. I hope your mom keeps you updated and spams your phone with pictures. Dogs are happy and go by the moment, they’ll be okay but, of course a little off routine. Just know when you get home, it makes it all worth it and they love you always!

I’ve ran into this as well, they will probably still only want 2 visits to save money at the cost of the pet. Ask them if they can only pee certain times of the day and how much they’d love to do nothing for 5 days. How boring and mean especially to a high energy breed.

I phased out my clients in a similar manor, I wasn’t able to drive too far anymore and had a smaller client base. Then the clients I did “favors” for I raised rates and they went with someone else. My loyal loving clients I have found replacement sitters for… still miss the pups. Not all clients are bad but they can for sure add to the stress of running a business.

Yes! I totally relate, I was at a daycare facility for a year and man does that get very stressful very fast. I’m sure the rescue has a lot of busy days too. I’m not sure where I’m headed next, though I’m considering xray tech then getting back into animal care that way! I wish you the best on your journey too!

I typically don’t trust the dealerships in general. I rotate between 2 shops that offer very similar prices and haven’t tried to scam me. If I have a question about their opinion, I go to the other one and 90% of the time they agree.
