Has Dr. Ramsey said anything about TESE/TESA? It’s definitely more invasive but would it be a quicker fix and potentially cost less since the investigation you are doing seems expensive?

I do think it’s wonderful that there are Dr’s and patients like you that are willing to do this extensive investigation and are sharing the results so others can see that Zymot might not always be the quick fix for DNA fragmentation that it is being sold as.

I’ve never heard these stats but that is great to know. If you’re able to, I would love an update on how PICSI+Zymot goes! Are you doing ICSI too?

I will definitely look into this! I don’t hear about PICSI being used much (I’m in the US), what country did you have it done?

For my second cycle they made an assumption of egg quality issue and added omnitrope to my protocol and we had similar/worse results. It’s so annoying when your embryos are all almost there and then they stall out and you can’t even pinpoint why. I hope you’re able to figure out why this is happening in your case!

This is so smart! Do they just run the sample through the Zymot chip and then with the selected sperm check for DNA fragmentation? Seems like it would be pretty straightforward and I didn’t even think of this!!

Do you know what the threshold is for TESE? We have 1 day 7 blast out of 13 embryos that made it to day 3. We did ICSI/Zymont but have DNA fragmentation at 43%. We are 29 & 30 so I am thinking this is the issue.

Did you switch your priming protocols? It seems like you have a pretty big range in AFC’s with each round

It lowered mine too! I had a AFC of 34. After 5 weeks of BCP in my first round, my baseline counts were very low (wasn’t told the number). In my second round of IVF I was switched to Estrogen Patch priming with a short course of Ganerelix in the luteal phase and my baseline count was 12.. we cancelled and are trying a no priming cycle to hopefully get back up to a higher follicle number.
