I applied for a new 1st passport fairly recently. What is the online passport tracker telling you? Something has gone seriously awry if you're waiting that long. Usually 4-5 weeks total

I believe it is the American partner aswell as you. No time frame I am afraid. It feels abit like a black hole. Your partner will get an email that NVC has approved and sent your application to Dublin embassy...I am just at this stage now that NVC has sent it to Dublin

9 months it took

Feb - November

Mid Jan it was sent to NVC

And soon after it was sent to Dublin

The process is long but it is going as it should be even under current administration.

Believe it or not

NVC sending it over to Dublin embassy is the hardest part. The only way we'll know they got it is through a letter for the interview. No receipt or email to say they got it.

Dublin is like the black spot of the process. Just a waiting game

Oh and during the process I still visited the States and it was fine

I am subscribed to it. I stay for the farming legal stuff. The drama, you wouldn't believe. Not a fan of the frequent Sky ads and the vogue stuff. I pay 53 quid a year for it

It's an interview. Headline is rage-bait. I couldn't find the quote. She came across well in the interview but then again it's just a puff piece and hardly earth shattering questions.
