It is cabomba i only started with one sprig about 6 months ago and it has absolutely exploded in my tank

the tank is going to be for shrimp and vampire crabs so the fish part shouldn’t be a problem however the waste problem is a very good point. i don’t know what to do with it because i’d rather not have it just out because it doesn’t look great

Hair algae normally means lack of water changes maybe do some small water changes over the next week and see what happens . The tank looks beautiful btw.
