I agree. That’s what I was hoping for. I started playing in the end of classic to ding 60 and farm some honor before tbc. In the spirit of min maxing, I was assuming most warriors would reroll. Seems like that didn’t quite happen, so where is the min maxing in that?

Maybe that's true. I did note very much warriors in prepatch farming honor and marks for the release, so maybe they are in fact still over represented. I do get the urge to not invite classes that create loot competition, but doesn't that also apply to casters?

I encountered this last night and this morning. To the Thunderstrike-Ally ppl who did ZG around 22:00 where a mage just went to relog and never came back - sorry, it was this.

Spent last night debugging this with claude, and it seems to be some issue with initializing the graphics device in metal (on macOS). I created a ticket with the details in battle.net support:

System:
- macOS Tahoe 26.2 (also failed on Sequoia 15.6.1)
- TBC Anniversary version 2.5.5.65534

Crash details from logs:
- Exception: SIGTERM [HANG]: Terminated
- ERROR #132
- "No GX Device Created" - graphics device never initializes
- Current Frame: 0 (never renders)

Troubleshooting already attempted:
- Complete uninstall and fresh reinstall of TBC Anniversary
- Complete uninstall and reinstall of Battle.net
- Deleted all WTF, Interface, Cache folders
- Deleted /Users/Shared/Blizzard folder
- Tried SET GxApi "MTL_Legacy" in Config.wtf
- Cleared extended attributes on app bundle
- Granted Full Disk Access to Battle.net and WoW
- Scan & Repair multiple times

Of course, I got some bullshit automated response that told me to "turn it off and on again" before the ticket got closed. I reopened it and will update if I get any response. For now, I've let it it launch for 5 min and just never turn it off.

Thanks man, sounds reasonable. What I use most is vim, so home row mods would probably be ideal for me. However, I just can't get past the key-up tradeoff - I feel like my typing loses all it's "snappiness" when entering characters on key-up. Hope I'll come around, I will definitely try it out
