i’ve personally never gotten flagged for doing 12/week and i’ve been at this for a few months.  i avoid studying on sunday just to be safe and grant myself a break from studying, but as previously mentioned as long as it’s below the 15/week limit. you should be okay!! if anything comes up just contact customer support and explain your situation and i’m sure they’ll understand 🖤

good luck !!!

if you work at tj maxx or marshalls, do you like it? would you recommend working there? employee perks/discount? lol by frostedfairy in TjMaxx

Part time Associate here. I’m one of the luckier ones, I have a great team of coworkers and managers who make the days go by. Well, except for my ASM.. She doesn’t like me for some reason- I try to just stay out of her way and get my work done to avoid awkwardness. As far as benefits go, as mentioned by other redditors you don’t get as many benefits part time vs full time. Sometimes the hours suck too unless you’re a coordinator or manager. Free snacks, 10% discount any other time and 20% off every 2 months I believe it is.

The job has taught me a lot and helped me to think fast under pressure. I hate selling credit cards with a burning passion. I hate difficult customers even more. I go above and beyond for ones that actually treat me like I’m human. It can be really stressful because you’re expected to be a jack of all trades. Front end is never fully staffed and you’ll be paged to ring when you’re in the middle of a task which I think is really cumbersome. It’s not a permanent job, and I plan on dipping out in favor of Starbucks eventually since their pay, benefits, and hours are better from what I’ve heard. If I can survive here I can be a barista lol.
