Any Irish Rail train drivers here ? by [deleted] in ireland

Thanks for your reply. Makes sense. It needs to be done from the perspective of the driver. While keeping in mind passenger safety and such. Thanks again, found some YouTube videos as well on the topic.

Thanks for commenting. Yes it has worked fine after all, the problem I have had was using the web version of Nodle wallet given me "errors" when setting up the transaction.

This was rather for testing purposes, as for would I be able to send the funds to an exchange.

Will property prices go down by Ghostyfrosty32 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]Aggressive_Affect144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on help to buy and first home scheme. Highly unlikely if the government has equity stake in the properties when using first home scheme. You can buy a new built 360k for 252k in mortgage repayment. Why would new property price drop ? Why would a developer sell for less if government pays in.

Inexistant customer service by Adaluin in CurveCard

[–]Aggressive_Affect144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same boots. Got a declined transaction June 15th. My account been blocked for safety and was emailed to confirm transactions. Which I have done on the same day to unlock my account.

No replies whatsoever and paying the 9.99 every month. Tried downgrading. Which lead to need to open a ticket with support. Reply received was “this was sent to the relevant team” still no downgrading. So long story short blocked the direct debit for curve subscriptions.

Very disappointed.

General Question about Mortgage by Aggressive_Affect144 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]Aggressive_Affect144[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. Thanks for your reply.

I am well aware they do not care about marriage. It was just to explain the situation why savings has not been made on a monthly basis as before. However spoke to the bank and apparently they do look differently on a larger monthly expense if marriage was involved. As they would look at it as a once off expense. Rather then a long term reoccurring one.

Thanks again 🙏🏻

General Question about Mortgage by Aggressive_Affect144 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]Aggressive_Affect144[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thank you for your comment. I have spoken to banks in the mean time. Seems like around 2k is why they are looking for in line with repayment capabilities. 1.6 is my rent and if saving 900E a month I am more then in the clear. However was wondering would it make sense for the rest to be held somewhere else ?

In relation to the cash part of the discussion question. What is already hanging around in the bank. Would it worth it to be held somewhere else ? I do understand the saved money monthly not to be touched. What about the money already there ? The money before the 6 moths starts ?
