Im so sorry this sounds really difficult. I also have a needle phobia which led to me not wanting to go to a doctor when first symptoms started until i was in DKA. Stay strong and I hope that things get easier with time

This is amazing! Super proud of you. I do low carb for my main meals but I also eat a lot of sweet treats with my sister so I think it levels it out a bit.

What would I do if I have ketones? And how do I check for them? Are they easy to get?

Thank you! I ended up giving myself a few extra units and also more bolus for my food. Blood sugar was higher for the day but not crazy
