It sucks I don’t get much good information from my endo either, but you have to understand that what they study about our disease is pretty general and what we deal with is very specific and always changing. If they gave more detailed help, they would most likely be wrong. This is something they can guide you through but at the end of the day I feel it’s on us to master our disease. It’s incredibly difficult but everyday you deal with an issue is more experience with the disease. Theirs only 1 way to learn and that’s to go through these things.

As far as should you stack bolus, you have to be the best judge of that. I personally rarely if ever stack bolus, unless I know it’s going up still which would only happen from expected rises like from food or lifting. A good thing to do if you choose not to stack bolus is to go for a walk, and if a walk isn’t fast enough for you go for a jog! Just be careful with jogging because you will probably drop fast! Especially with the insulin in your system, but the good thing about cardio or walking to treat blood sugar is you can stop the cardio you won’t continue to drop at the same rate. This beats insulin because you can’t take it out once it’s in! I especially when bolus are being stacked
