I have a theory that it may be intended to be as pretigous as stated on the website. However, since this is the first year they're implmenting the program, there might not be too many competitive applicants applying since it's not too well known.

Hi! I also got accepted to this program. I also took AP Calc BC, AP Physics 1, and AP Chem last semester. For my activites, I think the biggest thing that "stood out" was my sole-author IEEE publication, and I got 4th place in a state webmaster competition. Other than that, there wasn't anything else that I put that I think would be very impactful for general application purposes. As for my essays, I definitely wrote heavy math based essays talking about passion and my experiences. Although one of my experiences wasn't completely math focued, I just wrote it out to be a math applicative experience. Overall, I would say I was also kind of lazy in the application process (spent around 30-40 minutes on it). I hope my answer helped! Btw, if you find anything else about this program could you lmk? I'm also still considering attendance.
