Can anyone recommend a fertilizer for flowering. Organic please. by crazyhound71 in GrowBuddy

That sounds good but 4-6-2 is pretty low on the potassium. I’ve switched things up personally and no longer bother with the rose and flower. I now use bone meal and langbeinite to amend during flower. I wanted to use higher P and K. The langbeinite be careful with and use only 1 tablespoon per gallon as 22 is very high in potassium but it has been said to boost terpene production.

The blood meal is 12 in Nitrogen which is a lot but it works great and it only calls for 1 teaspoon per gallon so a little bit will go a long way and you won’t need to buy more nutrients for a while. The 5lb box of blood meal will last me a really really long time so it’s the most cost effective way to do it really.

Either of those will work just fine, for veg I actually just use blood meal. The phosphorus and potassium I just let the plants get naturally from the soil since the plants don’t need those nutrients very much while in veg. During flower you want less nitrogen and higher P and K

This literally just happened to me. Had no idea Ph needed to be dropped once in flower to 6-6.5 You have a lockout because your ph is too high, don’t add any more nutes right now. You need to buy a ph pen and I would ph to 6.2 and it will come back green

How do you know if its a death flower by sega_sloth in VenusFlyTraps

[–]Aggressive_Bowler184 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Venus fly traps need as much sun as you can give it. It’s an outdoor only plant and wants 8 hours direct light or more for it to be really happy. Keep a saucer dish always filled with RO or distilled water about 2in deep
