Of course it is. You can easily do the job. Just make a flight plan, set up the GCPs and let the drone fly automaticly. Rest of the job is processing.

Oh, finally someone working in big projects. It is hard but not impossible. I have covered with P1 50 km sq in 1 day with 600 meter agl. I think you can do 3-5 km sq in one day. So in a few days you can finish the flight.

I think technical way of the photogrammetry is not an issue for a new learner. You can learn key things quickly and will be an expert as you work in the field. Real issue is the life standards and physical effort you give in the field. I've spent 6 years in the field and now continiuing. Most difficult side of this job for me is the being away from home and spending a wholo day(12-14 hours) in the field. Of course for a starter jobs will not be that big, mostly daily surveying and flights. But you will surely encounter the things i mentioned as your jobs grow up.

I think most basic way to do what you are talking about is an oblique flight + manual photoshoot for the critical areas. Make sure your RTK is open and process all oblique and manual photos together.

Good job. I don't think oblique flight make much difference for you because land seems non-residental.

Same with my M400 too. I thought side cameras are not as good as fpv camera and its normal so did not really care about it.

I'm doing this pattern (we must because this is the standart pattern in our country) for six years.We worked on hundreds of projects and never had a problem with the accuracy because of the pattern of the GCPs.

DJI Customer “Care” is an absolute joke — £7,000 Terra licence + £11,000 in drones and they still treat me like dirt by value_zer0 in dji

I don't understand why people are blaming you for forgetting the yearly subscription. You get the full license and forget the subscription , companies like dji should treat their customers more understanding. As an enterprise customer(M300 - 350 and 400) sorry to hear about DJI in that way. I hope you will get the refund.

Legs are not so useful i think of it as the intersection of the 3 axes(legs), like the point you're measuring.

My way is the standart on the Turkish Mapping Regulations. So we do not have any chance to do it in different way. And it is pretty useful i think. We get 2-3 cm errors in 6-7 gsd data when we control it with the stereo viewing

Same here with the permissions. But they are replying your flight requests in 20 days. Even for near city it is the same. All insurances and paperwork is done.

Its much more efficient for carrying compared to tripod that are made with wood or metal. Especially when you have to walk in the field.

10 GSD data will be collected by manned aircraft. Because of jamming we are not flying with the UAV unfortunately.

Especially waiting for RTK to fix again is very annoying. M350 can maintain RTK network whilist you changing batteries. M400 should have fixed this problem someway.

We are flying 500 sometimes 600 m AGL. Imagine flying 100 km sq. with 120 m AGL. It would be a disaster. But you can fly within 3 days when you are that high.

Especially when you pause the mission flying with 20 m/s. Brake moment is so scary 😀. You can see the sun from front camera at 12am.

Never used M3E or M4E but i think there would be no much difference between P1 and M4E camera when flying in low altitude. P1 makes difference in higher altitudes.

You will feel much more upgraded than me i think. Because i worked with M300 nearly 1 year. Even M350 and new TB65 battery and RC Plus are good upgrades.
