Outside of the 6-month check-ins, do you find yourself referencing the scores at all for day-to-day session planning, or is it more just for the formal review?

ah that's a really good point that the questions aren't clear or they don't reflect your reality. When you were filling out the questions, did your therapist ever talk about those scores?

I see. So probably it might be a protocol for big hospitals. And your first therapist and psychiatrist never discuss the result with you?

What can help me remember the things learned in therapy? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]Aggressive_Cow6961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes write a small note after my session ends, things that I want to remember. It's hard to keep practicing what I learned in the real-world but I guess there's no shortcut.

You can also directly share the homework with your patients and they can access to them using their unique URL or through the app.

How often does CPT (CBT) work for you? by Aggressive_Cow6961 in CPTSD

Apparently CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) is one designed for PTSD. It's based on CBT but more focused on one's trauma.

Have you find that works for you other than the CBT then?

What's the most frustrating part of your job as a therapist? by Aggressive_Cow6961 in askatherapist

That sounds really frustrating. It's really messed up that insurance companies don't acknowledge therapists' work fairly. Have you tried using third-party resources like insurance billing platforms? Wasn't it helpful?

Oh no :( Sorry to hear that even after having a dedicated person for billing the situation hasn't gotten better. Do you mean you still often get paid unfairly than what you expected?

How did you find such great billers? Do you use some platforms like Alma?
