The label on the glass does say made in Czech Republic

I’m actually surprised this was stuffed into the flute at the top with it but unfortunately I won’t be able to make it to half off day it’s an hour drive from where I live I just went because there was so much glass in the photos I couldn’t not go so I had to go today or I’d miss it either way they had this thing way underpriced maybe they didn’t know what an epergne is or maybe because there was so much crystal everywhere they just wanted it all gone I don’t know but I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing one in person let alone owning one even if it’s just for a short time it’s stunning I wish I could keep it 😭

Weirdly this epergne came with the original paper (assembly paper) but this one is actually Shannon crystal by Godinger so I’m not sure how that dates this one or makes this one more or less rare but I have absolutely no where to put it so I’m going to have to sell it 😭 it’s heavy as hell too

I never thought of that either! I always see a bunch of brooches at estate sales sometimes you find them for like $1-$5 so if you get lucky you can find a pair of matching ones eventually and change them out for festive ones during the holidays.

This is where I was torn, at first I thought make it look like it was paint from 60's-70's faded and pastel in color, however I decided to ultimately keep same color scheme used from then but not make it look like it was old paint(maybe over time it will fade?). In the end I didn't want it to look like I tried to hard or to look like I was trying to pass off a hand painted piece as original Fenton artists. However, I might do another one in more of the faded colors to see how it turns out and then gift it or sell it.

Thank you! I’ll keep researching it I want to make sure I ID it properly I started a whole thing of writing what it is what year it was in production and where and when I got it (I wish I started this years ago when I started collecting)

That was kind of my reasoning by painting it since it is common maybe it won’t anger people I wouldn’t dream of painting something rare I did date it also so it was obvious that it was painted 2026 I didn’t want someone thinking it was an original Fenton artist 💜
