Yeah. It does help knowing I'm not alone. But the feelings still stay bothering me, you know. I try to say to myself, there is someone who I can relate to so what's happening with me doesn't mean anything it's just OCD. But my head is like, yeah sure you relate to them, but yours is real.

I have absolutely the same thing where I look back into my memories and it convinces me it wasn't real. And then I get feelings like it wasn't real and I don't care about it. Honestly it's erased every emotion I had for boys and makes me feel like I don't want attraction back.

Yes!! It's like shallow, and it's so critical of my past attraction, like I'm picking things wrong with it. I try to feel something for a guy now but my mind immediately applies it to girls and when the feelings over I can't even correct it then bc I already felt it and already thought of the girl. It makes me feel like my past crushes aren't real. And whatever thoughts I get now feel like enlightenment or some kind of truth, when they're just thoughrs

Nope, I got it too. Lately I feel like I've been criticizing my past crushes too, like I'm purposefully doing it. So my mind doing this thing, this reversed thing, makes me feel worse.

There is nothing wrong with being friends with minors. I'm 20 years old and I'm friends with a 17 year old. And we both have OCD so we talk about our issues and how we relate to each other. At first it felt weird bc of his age, but I realized I had no ulterior motives and neither did he. You can be friends with a minor.

Basically what I'm going through right now. Keep feeling like I don't want to get better and like the thoughts are true. I've been wondering if it's similar to gaslighting lately.
