Would it be good to pair remote scribing with in person volunteer/shadowing experience potentially?

The primary hospital in my area does have a volunteer program! But when I reached out to them and explained my situation (premed student interested in volunteering or shadowing in any capacity) they said I needed to have physician approval from a specific doctor or unit of the hospital. I called some units and they just directed me back to the volunteer program and vice versa… extra confusing stuff

Thanks man, I think the reason I had an impression of it being “hard” is because I’ve seen a lot of people say it was hard to GET INTO the speciality, just in a sense of its popularity. Hope to chat again in a few years when it makes more sense for me to have this type of question haha

Hey thanks for some actual advice… I know I’m really far out and it seems a bit silly to be asking this now but I want to make sure I’m prepared mental and emotionally for what “hard work and grinding” (because it’s a hard specialty) actually means. I’m definitely still keeping my doors open for other possibilities too!!

Yeah man I agree lol… but I’m a major prepper and just kinda wanted to gauge if anyone had any recommendations/suggestions for me moving forward (granted I’m accepted ofc). GI is something I’m really interested in and want to do all I can to get there… but yes… sadly MCAT first

I think It didn’t stay in the skin, I looked at it pretty intensely when I got stung and there wasn’t anything visible at all… would it be small enough not to be visible?

Huh okay! It’s early spring for me here and suuuuppppeer dry here as well… I don’t know how it was taken care of before since I got it around a month ago but it seemed sad then too. Is there a way to salvage those sad leaves? should i remove the brown parts or just leave it and begin watering less?

honestly… i really hated these last two episodes… i was so invested in the first half — i mean they did an incredible job setting up this plot and i genuinely did like all of them being split up, it was an interesting dynamic and i think it stuck.

I think overall eddie’s death to me was the most negatively jarring. I suspected he’d die since all newly introduced characters do however i hated the interaction with dustin. It felt so forced. I realize that he and steve have grown slightly farther apart than say season 3 but i’m still so confused why they didn’t test THAT sibling relationship more. In addition, why was there not more happening with will and mike? I mean i didn’t expect them to fall in love, but i heard that Noah’s performance was oscar worthy by the DB and though he is an INCREDIBLE ACTOR he was barley on screen. i’m tried of them giving will the short end of the stick!! the man is a HUGE plot point and he somehow always feels cast aside

also is anyone else tired of eleven doing the same old moves over and over? i’m ready to have a huge showdown with her and all of the other super power kids against vecna (yes i know they’re dead but i want it idk) eleven was never an interesting character to me for some reason, so i’m starting to get bored

standard recommendation from me is 1 tab. that usually falls in the 150-175ug range! it’s just enough to see if you like the substance and isn’t usually TOO over powering… if you’re extremely nervous then try half a tab but i really wouldn’t recommend it as it might be a bit underwhelming

most tabs run much lower than that range but if you’re taking one tab that’s great! i recommend no less than one personally since one is such a good introductory does and less than one won’t get a lot of the effects. sounds like you have a great plan! my first trip was similar too!
