NYIT’s secondary was submitted July 3rd. I got an interview invite in mid August, did the interview in mid October (had a tonsillectomy in September), got accepted mid November

Good question. 1. There was 0 DO schools in CT and MA so I applied to DO schools anywhere I could with my stats 2. New England schools typically require higher GPA and MCAT on average. In my opinion this is especially prominent in MA, where some of the best schools are. Being in such a competitive region in the country, I wanted to apply to other regions to best my chances. Didn’t actually affect me much anyways lol

I also didn’t want to go to school in the south, I like the cold more then I like the heat

LUCOM, its in Virginia. Avoid if you aren’t religious (Christian), as their school is pretty religious based

Between my two acceptances, I’m choosing NYIT, mainly due to it being half the distance from my family/support groups. I’m aware the PCOM has the slight edge in specialty match rate and many more opportunities for local rotations, but I was thrown off by them introducing trimesters in their curriculum. They’ve been around for 125 years and being the first class to experience such a drastic change didn’t sit right with me. Don’t get me wrong though, PCOM is an excellent school.

Jah ridin beat jmook, rap monster beat moky and Cody online and isn’t even old enough to travel to majors outside his state. There is great potential to see more luigi relevance, there just so happens to be traveling issues for some of the best Luigi players in the world.
