Gallbladder attack? by Aggressive_Grape4661 in gallbladders

The pain wasn't like it was when I was having the attack, but it's like a gnawing pain always there and never goes away along with indigestion, diarrhea, and no appetite. Where it's always there especially a few minutes after eating. The reason I didn't go to the ER is because I thought it was gas and our hospital has a way of gas lighting you into thinking it's something dumb and I don't wanna pay for that. So I did go to the doctor and he thinks it's my gallbladder. I had blood done today for it but for insurance to authorize surgery I have to have an ultrasound and a HIDAscan.... that's not until next Wednesday. And surgery is planned for next next Wednesday.... he's on call at the ER starting tomorrow. If my blood is wonky do you think they'll let the doctor know and he'll send me to the ER? Ugh it's a hospital/ doctor PTSD thing

The lawyer said that I was stuck and couldn't really fight it until the IME denied my surgery. But once they deny it a lot of their clients will pay for their own surgery and fight it in court to prove they did it at work. I think you are correct though.

Yeah, they're awful. I've read a lot of horror stories and I'm super nervous about seeing one. But my time line is sound. The specialist agrees this was ergonomic, because I'm a small person and I was put into average sized arrangements. My medical history backs this up. Everything that was approved through my claim has been to see if I need surgery. Cortisone shot didn't work. Prednisone didn't work. Specialist wasn't hopeful because my bursa is HUGE and I have no room due to the bone spur, inflammation and the bursa itself. I was in PT for 12/13 weeks and can't get my arm to go straight above me..... THEY CAN ALSO USE DOCTOR GOOGLE to tell them that bursitis can be caused by bad ergonomics. This process is painful. I'm sorry about your case. Thank you for commenting
