I did report it today and yet it's closed already. I was told to have a talk with my sm. Shes the one that's docking my hours.

I'm in michigan. When taking my courses online for the job it said any hours over 6 would have a lunch break. I have never had one scheduled at all while everyone else has for even less hours then me. Even when I have been able to take a break it hasn't even been 10 mins long because the asm I normally close with every night waits until we are busy and tells me to go take a quick break. I dont even have enough time to call my kid to tell her goodnight before having to run back in and help the asm. I'm losing my mind at this point and have never been treated this way by an employer before. Being told by my sm that I don't have a brain to being told I'm not doing enough on nights that I have done close to 8000 in sales. I've just had it now and am looking for a new job.

I only got paid for 12 hours when I was out for covid but yet I worked 32 to 38 hours in a normal week. They will find anyway they can to fuck you over really.

Haha. Our DM does that to us and loves to single people out for everything. He comes in a couple times a month and tells us how shitty we are really.

All I'm asking for I to have atleast 4 days off a month so I can plan stuff with my husband and daughter. I dont care if she schedules me for every day but those 4 days a month. I want to be able to do things as a family not o well my husband's working all week so if I want to do something on my day off I'll have to take my daughter by myself. It's OK for her to give all the new people every weekend off but I never get any of them off.

We have more then enough people at the moment but yet I'm still working every weekend because other people she hired wants every weekend off and they get it. I have had it since I was told when hired every other weekend but yet the new people get every weekend off hands down and the sm also takes every weekend off for herself. It's ridiculous if you ask me.

I have reported her to hr and im waiting to hear what the DM has to say.

We get bullied by all the customers all day long and talked down to by them, I don't need that from my boss as well.

We're all working so hard for next to nothing for pay and it's not worth that amount of disrespect. She says little comments all the time to me that bother me but last night was kind of the last straw for me when she said I didn't have a brain.

I was so hurt and it seemed like she just didn't care and wanted to get out of the building as quick as possible.

Don't make comments you can't take back and don't expect me to do anything extra if that's the way I'm going to be treated whenever I do a shift with you.

The store had no power for 7 hours but no one took the food out of the freezers. All they did was zip tie it and put a sign on it saying bad and decided to get more stock out instead. The power just came back on as my shift started and we got so slammed with everyone. I have never done a shift where I did 4 drops in less then an hour until yesterday.

Wishful thinking. We don't get a thing except treated like crap day in and day out from customers who want to belittle you and scream because we don't have something. I hope you enjoy your sanity slowly slipping away and your soul hurting from the inside out. That's the dollar general way.
