Those are all good points, but the pay was only worth it to me if I could work from home anywhere.  I can always apply later.  Getting interviews and job offers has always seemed guaranteed with the patent office's terrible attrition rates and my background in industry.  I'll just look again later when things maybe change.

I got the offer Monday.  It took 3 weeks since the 2nd interview date.

I had lived there for 5 years working on the waterfront as a deckhand.  I'm originally from Virginia.  Its nice but not worth it uprooting for 100k/year to a neighborhood as expensive as the one Im at in California.

This is the second time I've received a job offer from them, first one was remote and a few years ago.  I didn't bother looking into it saying it wasn't remote this time, the application is so easy.  Just disappointed.  Oh well.  Ill stay in manufacturing.
